How Did This Idea Come About? A local newspaper ran a story about me being an incest over-comer. I was inundated with calls from adult women who had similar experiences and had never shared it with anyone. They wanted to tell me their stories for the first time. Some wanted to write books, so I pointed them in the right direction, others just wanted a shoulder to cry on. As the calls slowed down, I began to think about all the tools that have helped me along my journey. After weeks of contemplating what I could contribute to women in transition, my husband and I created the first prototype for The “Hug Me” Comfort Pillow™ .
